Courses Details:

• BSc in Nursing
• BSc in Radiography
• BSc in Anesthesia Technology
• PC BSc in Nursing

Eligibility Criteria:

BSc in Nursing:Pre-University examination conducted by the department of Pre-University OR Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course) OR Senior School Certificate Examination, Pre-degree Examination (10+2) OR An Equivalent with 12 years of Schooling from a recognized Board or University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 45% marks aggregate.

BSc in Radiography: Pre-University examination conducted by the department of Pre-University OR  An Equivalent examination recognized by the NIMHANS, Bangalore OR Job Oriented Diploma course from a recognized Board with Diagnostic Radiography as vocational subject or Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology & English with a minimum of 45% aggregate.

BSc in Anesthesia Technology: Pass in Two year Pre University Examination or equivalent with a Science group having secured an aggregate of 45% in Science subjects. In case of SC / ST Candidates, 40% is sufficient for applying to the above courses. PC BSc in Nursing. The Candidate seeking admission to this course must:

• Hold a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)
•  Be a registered nur
• Have a minimum of 2years experience in a hospital or community health nursing
• Have pa ssed PUC examination in Arts / Science / Commerce
• Have working knowledge of English
• Shall be medically fit
• Have good personal and professional record

Age Limit: The age of candidates for all BSc courses should be between minimum of 17 years and maximum of 25 years as on 01.08.2011. For PC BSc course, the candidate who is above 48 years of age on 31st December 2011 shall not be eligible (As per INC guidelines).

Printout of the Application Abstract with the latest passport size photograph affixed (in the column provided) along with the Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Director, NIMHANS, Bangalore - 560 029 and relevant enclosures should be sent to the Director, NIMHANS, Hosur Ro ad, Bangalore -560 029 by superscribing the name of the cou rse(s) applied for on the Envelope without fail.
   
• The application fee is Rs.1000/- per course for General candidates &Rs.750/- per course for SC / ST candidates.
   
• Foreign Nationals are required to submit their applications through the Diplomatic Channel (through the Ministry of External Affairs). Sponsored candidates should submit their application through proper channel. The candidates should produce the sponsorship certificate in the prescribed format.
