Government Of India Ministry Of Health And Family Welfare All India Institute Of Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation (AIIPMR), Mumbai, invites applications for admissions to the following courses for 2011 session.

Courses Details:

Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics
Master of Prosthetics & Orthotics
Master of Occupational Therapy Master of Physiotherapy

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics: Candidates who have passed 10+2 Std or appearing for HSC/ (10+2) Std. examination with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology/ Mathematics in Science or equivalent with minimum 40% marks. The candidate must be born on or before 31.12.1994.The candidate must be an Indian National.

Master of Prosthetics & Orthotics: Bachelor’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (P&O) from an Institute/ College recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India with compulsory completion of internship of 6 months.Date of completion of Internship – On or before 31.7.2011.The candidate must be an Indian National.

Master of Occupational Therapy Master of Physiotherapy: The course is open for Occupational Therapists/ Physiotherapists holding bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy respectively from a University other than Distance Education and Agricultural University with completion of Six months compulsory Internship. Date of completion of Internship – On or before 31.7.2011.The candidate must be an Indian National.

Diploma in Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy/ Diploma in Rehabilitation: Physiotherapy Course is open for Only Women Candidates who have passed Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy respectively from a University other than Distance Education and Agricultural University with completion of Six Months compulsory Intership. Date of completion of Internship – On or before 31.7.2011.The candidate must be an Indian National

How To Apply:

Online application can be done through www.aiipmr.gov.in  / www.aiipmronline.nic.in  and print out of Duly filled in forms to be forwarded to Institute along with Processing fees and application form fee and attested mandatory certificates. Can be obtained between 9.00 AM and 01.00 PM from Monday to Friday from Academic Section, (Room No. 214,2nd floor) of this Institute against Application form/Prospectus fee form 7-06-2011 onwards.

Form can also be downloaded from Institute website: www.aiipmr.gov.in / www.aiipmronline.nic.in . Duly filled in forms can be forwarded to Institute along with Processing fees and application form/Prospectus fee in the form of Demand Draft. PROCESSING FEES: Rs. 500/- For SC/ST Candidates processing fee relaxed to Rs. 400/- in the form of Demand Draft. APPLICATION FORM/PROSPECTUS FEE: Rs. 150/- for each course.Payment will be accepted in the form of Demand Draft from Nationalised Bank to be Drawn in favour of “Director, AIIPMR’ Payable at Mumbai.
