ADMISSION TO MBBS
Introduction:
Management of AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM reserves the right to change any of
the conditions enumerated herein for the purpose of complying with any of the
regulations of the University Grants Commission or any other competent
authorities
Eligibility:
1. Minimum 17 years of age and maximum 23 years on or before 31st December
2009.
2. Pass in 12th standard in the first attempt and with a minimum of marks 60% in English and 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together, from any State Higher Secondary Board or equivalent. NRI’s and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) who qualify from foreign universities will have to produce an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
3. Those who appear for the qualifying examination in March / April 2009 can also apply.
Application Procedure:
Prospectus and Application forms will be available from the branches of The
Dhanalakshmi Bank and South Indian Bank from 5th March 2009 to 22nd April 2009
How to apply:
DD to be drawn in the name of AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM,, KOCHI. PAYABLE AT
ERNAKULAM OR KOCHI. Requests for applications may be sent to address listed
above.
Cost of application form : Rs. 1,250/-
From the Office by Speed post/Courier : Rs. 1,310/-
Download from the site and submit along with a DD for Rs. 1,310/-
