Admissions to Under Graduate Courses in Private, Unaided, Medical and Engineering Colleges of Karnataka for the Academic Year 2010-2011 through COMEDK under graduate entrance test and centralized counseling (COMEDK UGET-2010)

Karnataka private medical and dental colleges association and Karnataka unaided private engineering colleges association have set up COMEDK to organize a common entrance test and centralized counseling, that would facilitate selection of candidates on merit for admissions to undergraduate courses offered by member institutions (medical, engineering and dental). COMEDK entrance and publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralized counseling (single window system).

The details of arrangement made will be publicized in due course on website www.comedk.org. Candidates are advised to visit the COMEDK website www.comedk.org regularly for all updates.

COMEDK invites applications for taking COMEDK UGET-2010 from eligible candidates seeking admissions to UG courses in medical, dental and engineering streams for the academic year 2010-2011. For relevant and important information about COMEDK UGET-2010, kindly refer to the brochure on the website. The fee structure of each member institution and other details will be made available on website

Eligibility Criteria for applying to COMEDK UGET 2010

Applicants should have passed the 2nd PUC/12th std or equivalent exams. Candidates who have appeared for the examination and expecting results may also apply

For MBBS and BDS as per the MCI (medical council of India) and DCI (dental council of India) norms

For BE as per the AICTE (All India council of technical education) norms

Applications are to be filled online on website www.comedk.org after obtaining a demand draft for Rs 700/- for 3 subjects (PCM or PCB) and Rs 900/- for all 4 subjects (PCMB) in favour of COMEDK, payable at Bangalore (non refundable fee) and posted to the below given COMEDK address along with the demand draft and the documents asked for on or before 10.04.2010 (neither the application forms or filled in application will be sold or received in COMEDK office or any member institution)

• Last date for dispatch of test admission ticket: 16.04.2010

• Publishing of answer keys: 09.05.2010
• Last date for receiving objection pertaining to answer keys: 14.05.2010
• COMEDK UGET 2010 Results - Publishing of test scores: 26.05.2010
• Last date for receiving objection pertaining to test scores: 29.05.2010
• Publishing of rank list: 07.06.2010
• Last date for dispatch of rank cards: 17.06.2010
• Only centralized counseling for B.Arch
• Start date for issue of online application form for B.Arch: 21.05.2010
