Admission for PGET-2011 at Baba Farid University
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, invites applications for admission to PG Medical Seats in Punjab Govt medical colleges, Amritsar and Patiala, DMC, Ludhiana, SGRD Institute of Dental Sciences, Amritsar, and for admission to various PG courses (Super Specialty, MD/MS/Dip./MDS) running in the affiliated colleges of the BFUHS for the Academic Year 2011-13.
Eligibility:
Candidates with MBBS/ BDS degrees can apply for the courses.
Selection Process:
Selection to the courses will be done through Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET-2011) to be conducted on
20th February 2011.
Prospectus and Application forms can be obtained from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Govt. Medical Colleges , Amritsar & Patiala , DMC, Ludhiana , SGRD Instt. of Dental Sciences, Amritsar , DRME office, SCO-87, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh, at a cost of Rs. 1200/- (at Counter) or by post from BFUHS by sending DD of Rs. 1250/- in favour of Registrar, BFUHS payable at Faridko
NOTE: Punjab Govt. has issued corrigendum No 5/12/2008-3HB3/538 dated 21.01.11 to the notification no. 5/12/2008-3HB3/110 dated 10.01.11 (published in prospectus PGET-2011) regarding eligibility for PGET. The same is available on the website of the University for information of candidates.
