- Pay Scale: Rs.37400-67000 (Pay Band-4)+ Grade Pay Rs.9500/- with minimum pay of Rs.46,000/-
Assistant Professor-Posts-153
- Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 (Pay Band-3)+ Grade Pay Rs.8000/- with minimum pay of Rs.30,000/-

How To Apply:
The application forms and other information viz qualification, experience and age limit etc. can be obtained from the Committee Branch either personally or on written request accompanied by a self addressed stamped (Rs.10/-) envelop (27 cm x 12 cm) along with payment of Rs. 525/- by Demand Draft in favour of Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh (Rs. 275/- for SC/ST candidates), payable at SBI Branch, Sector 12 (Code No.1524), as non refundable fee and cost of application form etc. The same information and application form can also be down loaded from our website: http/pgimer.nic in. and http/pgimer.gov.in. A Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates) should be attached with application down loaded from our website, towards non refundable application fee.
Last Date To Apply: 15.7.2010
Notes:
(i) For the post of Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at Sr.No.18, Health Economics (SPH) at Sr.No.33, and Anatomy at Sr.No.40, Non-medical Scientists can also be considered.
(ii) The number of posts can be increased/decreased at any time by the orders of the competent authority.
(iii) The last date for receipt of application is 15.7.2010
(iv) The candidates who have already applied in response to this office advertisements No.3/2008(Estt.I), 7/2008(Estt.I), No.10/2008(Estt.I), No.14/2008(Estt.I), No.10/2009(Estt.I), No.11/2009 (Estt.I), No.15/2009(Estt.I) and No.16/EI(2)/PGI/2009 earlier need not apply again. Candidates who had already applied and have acquired further experience/publications are welcome to furnish additional information.
(v) The post of Consultant Dietetics advertised vide Advt.No.16/EI(2)-PGI-2009 is hereby withdrawn for the time being.
(vi) Selection against post reserved for SC/ST/OBC shall be tentative and subject to final decision of Civil Writ Petition no.15687 of 2007 title as Surinder Batra versus. Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
