The Institute is a creation of Shri P. P. Chhabria, well-known industrialist and philanthropist and Padmashree Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, a distinguished scientist and an acclaimed IT leader of India who is credited with the creation of India’s PARAM series of supercomputers and a recipient of Maharashtra’s highest recognition ‘Maharashtra Bhushan’. The vision and leadership of these two distinguished gentlemen have shaped this Institute since its inception.
Objective : To give hands on exposure on fundamentals of Nanobiotechnology
WORKSHOP ON NANOBIOTECHNOLOGY 14th - 16th March 2011
OBJECTIVE : To give hands on exposure on fundamentals of Nanobiotechnology
DURATION : 3 days
ELIGIBILITY : Students pursuing B.Sc. / M.Sc. / MBBS / BDS / B. Pharm / M.Pharm / M.D. / B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech
WORKSHOP FOCUS :
Participants will be given hands-on experience and exposure to:-
- Introduction to Nanoscience & Nanotechnology
- Fundamentals of Nanobiotechnology
- Nanomaterial synthesis and applications
- System Biology
- Computational Biology
- Nanobioinformatics
WORKSHOP OUTCOME :
- Participants will get a mobile mini laboratory with them after successful completion of the training for further experiments and research
- Participants will be certified on successful completion of the workshop
THINGS TO KNOW : Classes will be held day and night. All the students will be staying on campus only
FEES : Rupees (INR) 4,000 (includes accommodation, food and mini laboratory)
Interested students are required to take a copy of the application form from www.isquareit.ac.in and send it before February 28th, 2011 along with a D.D in favor of “I2IT Pvt. Ltd”, payable at Pune for a sum of Rupees (INR) 2,500 (This sum will be adjusted against the total fees) ONLY DDs WILL BE ACCEPTED. NO REFUND WHATSOEVER
