Eligibility criteria:
To apply for CMC PG a candidate must have done MBBS from an institute recognized by Indian Medical Council. The candidates who will complete their internship before 15th May, 2011 can also apply.
Application Forms Availability for CMC PG 2011
Application forms for CMC PG are expected to be available in ICICI bank branches across India. The forms can also be obtained by sending a request for the form to the registrar office, CMC. There is also a facility for online application where a candidate can fill the form online and send the printed copy to CMC through the website home.cmcvellore.ac.in/admissions.
Important dates (Tentative):
- Date of Entrance Examination: last week of November, 2010
- Last date for receipt of completed application forms: end of the month of October, 2010
- Declaration of results for written exam: 1st week of December, 2010
- Interviews of the selected candidates: first week of January, 2011
- Final Selection List announcement: first week of January, 2011
- Commencement of courses: 1st week of March, 2011

Examination pattern and syllabus:
The entrance test will be of two types:
- Paper 1(General Paper) will have MCQs from entire MBBS Syllabus
- Paper 2(Special paper) will also have MCQs from the subject of specialization candidates have chosen.
Candidates can either give General Paper or Special paper for a particular specialization.
