Eligibility criteria:
All the candidates appearing for RPMT should have a domicile of Rajasthan. A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2011 can also apply. Also a candidate should have attained the age of 17 years before 31st December, 2011.
Important Dates (Tentative):
- Sale of Application form starts: first week of March, 2011
- Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: 1st week of April, 2011
- Date of Entrance Examination: starting of the 2nd week of June, 2011
- Declaration of Results: 3rd week of June, 2011
- First Counseling: third week of July, 2011
- Second Counseling: fourth week of August, 2011
Pattern of Examination:
- The entrance test will have 2 papers of 2 hours each with each paper having 100 objective questions:
- Paper I-Physics & Chemistry-100 questions
- Paper II-Botany & Zoology-100 questions
- For every correct answer a candidate will get 3 marks and for an incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted.
