National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research(NIPER) Invites Applications For Registrar / Section Officer / Hindi Typist / Scientist Posts 2010

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), S.A.S. Nagar is an Institute of National Importance set up by the Government of India, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers by an Act of Parliament, to impart higher education and undertake advanced research in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Technology and Management. The Institute intends to fill the following vacant posts:-

1.Registrar

• Maximum Age Limit: 50 Years
• Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs.37400-67000 + GP 10000
• Number of Post: 01 (General-01)
• Qualification & Experience:
  1. Post Graduate with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale.
  2. (i) At least 15 years experience as Assistant Professor in AGP of Rs. 7000/- and above or with 8 years of service in AGP of Rs. 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration or
  (ii) Comparable experience in Research Establishment and/or other Institutions of higher education or
  (III) 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
• Remunerations and Benefits:
  Pay Band 4 (Rs. 37400-67000) with starting pay Rs. 43000 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 10000 and other allowances as per Central Government Rules.

2.Section Officer (Accounts)

• Number of Post: 01
• Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.4600/-
• Maximum Age Limit: 40 years
• Educational Qualification: Graduate in commerce/Economics with 55% marks. Exp.: Eight years in dealing with accounts in Research Institute/University.
• Desirable: Experience in computer and data entry operation.

3. Assistant Grade-I (Accounts)

• Number of Post: 1
• Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.4200/-
• Maximum Age Limit: 40 years
• Educational Qualification: Commerce Graduate with 50% marks.
• Experience: Seven years including at least five years in the immediate lower grade in a Government Department/University/Research Institute of repute in maintenance of accounts as per Government procedure. Working knowledge of computers for accounting purposes is essential.
• Desirable: SAS/M.Com./Intermediate of CA of ICWA.

4.Assistant Registrar (Examination)

• Number of Post: 1
• Pay scale: PB 3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs. 5400
• Maximum Age Limit: 45
• Educational Qualification & Experience: Master’s degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale along with a good academic record.
• Desirable: Ten years experience in educational administration in Research Institute/University in dealing with matter relating to examination procedures. Experience in computer operation.

5. Scientist Grade-I in Central Instrumentation Laboratory

• Number of Post: 1
• Pay Scale: PB 3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs. 5400
• Maximum Age Limit: 40
• Educational Qualification & Experience: M. Sc. in appropriate field with 6 years of experience in handling/operation of Spectroscopic/analytical instruments.
• Desirable: Experience in handling NMR, MS, GC-MS, XRD and other sophisticated instruments.

6.Hindi Typist

• Number of Post: 1
• Pay Scale: PB 1 Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400
• Maximum Age Limit: 35
• Educational Qualification & Experience:
  (i) Graduate from recognized University with 50% marks.
  (ii) Typing speed of at least 30 w.p.m. in Hindi.
  (iii) Proficient in using Computers (Diploma of at least one year duration is desirable).
